Before you hit the dance floor, here is everything you need to know about the programme, entry, age restrictions, reservations and VIP boxes.
The Roots is an underground nightclub in the heart of Prague, just a few steps from Charles Bridge. Friday and Saturday are Full Club Mode with DJs, commercial house, R&B and dance hits, while Wednesday and Thursday have a more relaxed musical warm-up. Standard entry is free.
The main DJ party takes place on Friday and Saturday. Expect mainly commercial house, R&B and dance hits, with selected sets accompanied by live saxophone or violin. Wednesday and Thursday have a more relaxed warm-up feel. You can find the latest line-up in the Programme section.
Entry is permitted for guests aged 18 and over. You may be asked to present a valid photo ID at the entrance.
You do not need a reservation for a regular visit, but we recommend booking for Friday and Saturday nights, celebrations and larger groups. If you want your own space, you can reserve a VIP box. We have three options for groups of up to 10 people, with bottle service and table service included.
Yes. You can move freely between The Roots, The Nest cocktail lounge and The Apple with its live dance show. Start with a drink, continue to the show or head straight to the dance floor.
